Hand in Hand, the Children’s Cancer Charity announces Craughwell Honda 50 Run

GALWAY (June 26, 2018)-

The Craughwell Honda 50 Club have selected Hand in Hand as their chosen charity for their annual motorcycle run.

The locally based motorcycle club have organized an annual motorcycle run to raise vital funds for charity for 5 years. Their efforts have helped a number of local charities including Albata (a school for children with autism), Galway hospice, and the Craughwell Order of Malta.

This year’s Craughwell Honda 50 Run for Hand in Hand will raise vital funds which allow the charity to provide families across Ireland with the support they need at the most difficult time imaginable.

“Our team work tirelessly every year to ensure the success of this event,” Liam Joyce, a member of the Craughwell Honda 50 Club said. “We are so pleased to be able to support a local charity like Hand in Hand this year.”

The run welcomes both motorcycle enthusiasts and spectators alike, with a raffle and entertainment following the run in the afternoon. Raffle prizes include a €500 voucher for Craughwell Furniture, €300 voucher for Beatty’s Loughrea, one-night bed and breakfast in the Castleroy Hotel in Limerick, a food hamper and many more. All proceeds will go to Hand in Hand, the Galway based Children’s Cancer Charity.

“We were thrilled to learn that the Craughwell Honda 50 Club selected us as their 2018 charity,” Jennifer Carpenter, service manager for Hand in Hand stated. “Hand in Hand and our families cannot thank them enough for all their efforts organizing this fantastic event. Their generosity and fundraising allows us to continue to help local families while their child is undergoing cancer treatment.”

Date: July 15th, 2018

Registration will begin at 11 am

The run will start at 12:30 pm

Location: Cawley’s car park in Craughwell

Entry fee: €20

The run will travel through South/ East Co. Galway and Co. Clare with refreshments after 50 km.

Hand in Hand is an invaluable national non-profit organisation.
