The Something To Sing About Choir are holding a major fundraising event on the Menlo Park Hotel on Friday, 22 February 2019.

The Concert & Dance will feature the STSA Choir and a host of Special Guests. Singers/songwriters Marc Roberts and PJ Murrihy along with soprano Siobhan Duggan will feature on the night.

The Choir of cancer survivors was established in 2012 by Prof. Paul Donnellan, Consultant Oncologist, Galway. The members all share the fact that they are either cancer survivors or prople currently undertaking the journey.

New members are always welcome. There is no age limit. The main objective of the Choir is to benefit the community by the provision of support for patients and survivors of cancer, through a shared musical activity and counselling, music therapy, health talks and workshops.

The Something To Sing About also fundraise so they can donate towards other cancer-based charities and research, and for the benefits of patients of cancer. This is the purpose of this special night in the Menlo Park Hotel.

Tickets, €20 each, are available directly from the Menlo Park Hotel. The concert starts at 7.30pm sharp and will be followed by social dancing with Jimmy Hynes and The Crusaders starting at 10.15.
